Story of None

by Victor   Apr 23, 2008

I've kept my foot nailed to the bottom of this pail
had too much to drink and forgot to never tell
but the sweetness of your stare
floats along the abyss
like a mystery not only for the ones that miss
but for those that always seem to hit
and I'm left with two cents to give
and a story i cant forget

something that starts with a twist
like a movie from the cliffs
stare across the breeze
and your beauty embraces me

let it rain I'm dry and cant stop the itch
need your soul to follow me high above the stars
where i remember where you are
i make a wish as the brightest remembers me
your the one I'm thinking of

look forward and theres the note you left
like dancing before I let you leave
it says "stay well below the seen,
don't forget the only memories
and lay below the sea with me"

thats too much to take in and as my floats
get lighter the nails get tighter
two share the same with another
and find it hard to tell the other

so as my final presentation to the blind
i keep myself two minutes behind the time
clear my throat, prepare the hardest line
no games, no fame and no disappointments
just breath taking moments
With you, yourself and everything else
and here you come
with this letter in one hand
and a hammer in the other
