All We're Doing Is Dreaming

by brie kelly wise   Apr 23, 2008

We're wasting away in this lonely den
Waiting for the lightning to die off or thin
I just can't stand how she looks all around this place
Only for something she knows she can never taste
Petty worlds and soft execuses pass by this girl
I've learned from experience that we're only dreaming here

It's too bad none of us agree
Where we take ourselves, what we see
Momma always says we have to carry ourselves across the nation
So don't drink yourself into devastation
Take what I say seriously and don't leave me
Because when you pray, all you're doing is dreaming
