Waiting here for you

by Sara   Apr 24, 2008

Fate escaped the tainted truth of waiting here for you
Disguising all the pain I feel from hurtful things you always do
Hoping that the day would come this solitude would somehow end
Your heart is cold and bitter is there a reason why you still pretend?
The hope I had still lingers in the absence of a broken heart
Silence is my hallow truth slowly ripping me apart
The shadow in your painful words penetrate my every thought
You look at me with piercing eyes, loathing on the fear you sought
Your smile has now withered in the memories I have of you
The glass is shattered from there frames, theres nothing left from what we knew
The rain still falls like broken dreams into this hallow shell of mine
cutting me with punctured wounds for all the lies I have to find
