Your first two lines sounded as though it came right from the lyrics of a band called Story of the Year. The song has the same title as your poem. I'm not suggesting you plagiarized, but I would recommend changing it.

It's a good poem. Bonds are hard to keep, but we should always try hard to keep it strong.

I really liked it, the rhyme scheme was great.
