The paper was white,
for the hope now gone,
so i splattered it with color,
with a meaning for each one.
painted red for the pain,
my blood and my heart,
red for the cuts,
and your thoughts tearing me apart.
painted blue for the tears,
every one that i cried,
over the pain you put me through,
every time that you lied.
painted violet for the love,
that was never there,
and grey for the shadows,
from thinking you cared.
painted green for the envy,
that you love her instead,
and yellow from the happiness,
you two shared and said.
painted black for the truth,
the truth i refused to see,
then i took a step back,
and saw a painting of me.
