Momentarily wrathful

by tri tran   Apr 24, 2008

The night rain drenched my neurons,
Thunder shocked each of my organs,
Lighting whipped my sleeping soul--
But the golden sun blazed minutes later.

My heart, an ocean, now, turned cyan from gray,
Breathed peace throughout my tiny universe;
Tranquility, a new garden of lavender roses.
Now, the storm had evaporated into the outside world,

Forever gone...
