The one i looked to for advise
The one to show me the way when i was lost
You were the one that knew when something was wrong
The one to help me be strong
The one that made me happy when i was sad
The one to make my day better when it was bad
You were the one to lift me up after i fell
You were the one, i could tell
Than things changed
You were a jerk and that wouldn't work
You never noticed how you treated me
Until the day i let you go
Than i was gone in a blink of an eye
And you couldn't do anything but cry
People were mad
Couldn't see how i could make you so sad
But they didn't see
What you did to me
I felt so bad but i didn't regret it
Because you changed into something you shouldn't
Now you ask why
And all i can say is
You were the one and now its all gone away
