Can you see it in her eyes?
Oh, beautiful little break
manufacturer of pain
and smiles that are fake

Can you hear her screaming?
as she hits the floor?
no, lover, you've already left
she watched you walk out the door

Did you see her slit her wrists?
write your love with pain
how the only time she feels beautiful
is when blood pours from her veins

Can you hear the crying
in the middle of the night?
no, you backed away
whispering, "It'll be alright"
