A Lifes Worth of Tears, Cried in One Night

by Mommy C   Apr 25, 2008

A life's worth of tears, cried in one night
As she laid down in bed, and began to lose sight
Drifting off into the sweetest of dreams
In a wonderful world, where nothing is what it seems

She can be whoever she wants to be, with no fear
Love whom she wants, there's no comments to hear
Have the perfect life, in this imaginary world
Until she awakes, and then it's all hurled

A life's worth of tears, cried in one night
She awakens from, the sun shinning so bright
Knowing it's another day, she's about to face alone
She turns her head away, so her emotions aren't being shown

Surrounded by plenty people around
But, when she cried, did and hear a sound?
Wrapped up in thinking of her love going no where
She should keep it to herself, it's too hard to share

Bleeding inside, and leaving some scars
Wanting to hide on Venus or even Mars
She doesn't want her to see, her at her ultimate low
She doesn't want her to see, cuz she doesn't want her to know

That every feeling she's never felt
She found it in her, and began to melt
Things sometimes good, and things sometimes bad
But it's the worst when it's leaving her sad

She'll write it out in poems and songs
Writing out your feelings, there can be no wrong
It's when you take action, is the time to worry
Some people wanna get it over with, and in a hurry

She would rather write all of it out
All the pain, hurt, and yes, even some doubt
She's afraid she's not the one for her
Eyes get a bit hazy and start to blur

A life's worth of tears, cried in one night
Because she doesn't know, when it'll be alright.

Beautifull expressed. We have all had moments like this... I can relate to your emotions, when you feel you are surrounded by people who are supposed to know and love you, but none of them seem to see you... Keep on keeping on...
