How do I say goodbye to you
Remembering all the things we use to do
All our great morning and evening calls and texts
And of course our happy moments together
All the months we spent together
We loved each other whether good or bad weather
When I think of the times we will no longer have
It makes me sad
And yes it makes me mad
I don't want to let go
I wish instead I was saying hello
But it's all the good times that we have shared
That will get me through
Knowing how much you cared
I know the good Lord has prepared a place for you
A special person right for you
For this special person I dearly love
I will live my life as full as I can
Knowing that someday I will see you again
I will not say goodbye
Because it will only make me cry
so instead I will say....
Farewell to you my dear friend
We will see each other again...
