This is a very curious poem. Although it's difficult for me personally to empathize with the detailed life experience, it does seem to be bursting with a positive feel despite some rather generic teen expressions. But then I guess that's your point: as a poem about stepping out into the adult world I think you've captured the trepidation rather well.

Always keep this poem. Because one day you'll be twice the age you are now, and you may enjoy reading this again. :-)
