UNCONDITIONALLY DEAD

by Skulblaka Sverda   Apr 25, 2008

Is there no righteous king
no strider in the court.
Can he not stand up to his words
that were once perfect, now shattered.
I bare my soul, open my heart for destruction
exposing my heart, torn from my chest.
The deep secrets I confessed
promises made to break, trust to dissipate.
Beauty had killed the Beast
the love extended in friendship is my death.

Alas, I am free
no more bound from the chains of Unconditional
for he left me to transpire.
Upon my last final breath
one comes from afar and whispers hope into my ear
Resurrecting a refreshed new soul,
my Nobleman has rescued me.
