The Battle of LIFE

This is my battle,
This is my life.
I fight for what I believe in,
I fight for what is right.
I've made so many friends,
But also enemies.
Some are following me tonight,
This is my battle I must fight.
I'll never give up,
For this is the battle of life.
In the end,
I don't know what will happen.
Will you be there to finish me off,
Will you be the one to end my life.
Am I scared to face the ones,
The ones that hate me for who I am.
The answer you're wanting will never be yes,
I'm not afraid.
This is the battle of life,
I am what I am.
If you don't like it then tough,
I will never change to be something I'm not.
I love who I am,
I love being myself.
If you want me to change,
I'm sorry but that won't happen.
I'm finally happy to admit,
That I am gay.
I am gay but still the same,
So don't get all frightened for I am tame.
This is the battle of life,
A battle I must face.
Tonight this ends,
No more running from the bad.
But to bring the light and fight for what is right.
The battle of life starts right now,
To start my long journey is what I must do.
