I look over at him,
He looks back at me.
I look away quickly,
Maybe it was meant to be?

^^ flippin....that's my social studies class RIGHT THERE. stupid jake..

My heart starts to light up,
But it still has a lot to mend.
He comes walking over to me,
And asks for a pen to lend.

^^ i love this stanza. it mixes poetic words like hearts lighting up, and every day things...this is truly a beautiful stanza.

All of my friends giggle,
Give me a sly little smile.
They say that if I tell him,
He'll be mine in a little while.

^^ he TOTALLY could be yours. cuz he's in love with you. duh.

In my next few classes,
I only daydream about him.
Then he sits right beside me,
As we watch a scientific film.

^^ this stanza is cute. the flow's a little off, but it's still adorable nonetheless..

His body is so close to me,
His elbow right next to mine.
I slide mine over until we touch,
Trying to give him some kind of sign.

Suddenly the bell starts to ring,
He gets up and walks away.
I go to the buses in disappointment,
