Eye Of The Storm

by Sora   Apr 27, 2008

Im caught in the eye of the storm,
Nowhere to turn, no one to keep me warm.
All over Im drenched in rain,
Standing in a puddle, trying to ignore all the pain.

I know that my past is not what my future holds,
But now Im starting to freeze from the cold.
Someone calls my name, Is that him? I wonder.
But the voice fades and all I hear is thunder.

I looked at my watch, which says twelve thirty,
Im still waiting for his arrival, Im starting to worry.
Im thinking, is he hurt?
I doubt he comes, boy does he got some nerve.

I start to walk back home,
A place where I'll still be alone.
I'll just lay in my bed,
And wait for what lies ahead.

I really like this, and you had a very eye-catching title! I loved your rhyming scheme and every line was so well put.

"I start to walk back home,
A place where I'll still be alone.
I'll just lay in my bed,
And wait for what lies ahead."

Nice job with stating your emotions and what you truly feel.

Thanks for the comment and keep writing!
