The bright moon casts its brilliance over silent darkened shadows
High above, stars blink like a distant coloured confetti of diamonds
Fireflies write your name with their incandescent hues of magical light
Casting an eye at this scene as I drive home I feel your love and its comfort.
Staring through the darkness a shooting star blazes its way to its destination
Forging its fiery way through endless Heaven; its lone voyage taking years of patience
Witnessing this panorama my thoughts centre on the beauty of my Orchid Lady
Together, our journey through life is more rewarding than nature's many guises.
Thoughts dance around inside my mind - thoughts that bind you strongly to me
Whenever we are apart, loneliness envelops me like an unwelcomed damp fog
Trees rustle as they are blown by winds but their whisperings and thoughts.......
don't mention the love I have for you; a love burning so brightly inside me.
Love is not simply something a person feels inside a heart then shares with another
If it were that simplistic a person could fall in love many times throughout a lifetime
Strange as it may seem, my love for you was born from a recognition of a distant time
I know you felt it too as if on cue; we instantaneously speak very similar words.
Again, the fragile orchid with its magnificent colours is our favourite flower
The chance of this happening must be many millions to one against our choice
Yet please remember this - tonight as you live throughout your own private dreams
There are no written words describing love more fully than the love I have for you
There are times when I look at your photographs and find tears forming in my eyes
No matter how hard I try to remove this dampness the tears increase then flow freely
Then I am reminded by my heart; without you in my life I will simply become an empty shell
