All hope was lost at sea..

by Britt   Apr 27, 2008

My Dear, you are much too late, her heart was lost before you could partake in the dulling and the chipping away;

hope isn't easily found in her eyes shes used to being let down no surprise tragedy is her greatest moment of strength so accustomed to all the give and take.

She wishes for a brighter tomorrow but she knows grey skies are on her horizon, sorrow is never a stranger always feeling welcome and she never got a chance to warm up for her heart was stone solid

before fuel could be added the flames would recede and through her smiles all shes seen is greed does he ever think about anyone else? Of course not thats too much to ask. Perhaps so nothing ever goes her way she has to chase dreams just to drift away and heartbreak is nothing new for her, she always stands true even when her eyes start to water never putting herself first but thats always too much to ask..perhaps one day she will find the light at the end of the tunnel, but for now barracdes run thick and escaping seems unlikely but Maybe one day he will see that all her hope was lost at sea.
