He hit her and beat her
Always calling her names
He made her feel like
No one would ever love her
Because she was nothing
And when her friends found out
What was going on
And told her that he was wrong
She told them that she deserved it
That it was all her fault
That this happened to her
Her friends tried to help
But all she did was turn them away
Then one day she met a girl
The girl who would soon be her best
She made her realize that she didn't deserve this
That she was loved and she could prove it
Her best friend took her by the hand
And showed her that she was loved
Then not soon after her best friend
Came into her life
The boy she would soon love
Came into her life
And as soon as he found out
What was going on
He was angry
And again she tried to tell him that it was her fault
And that she deserved everything she got
Then she told him that no one could ever love her
He told her that she was loved and he could prove it
Then he took her by the hand
And showed her that she was loved
Now she knows that she shouldn't live this way

But she has the people that love her
