Heartbreak and lies
Love is a surprise
It watches pain with darkest eyes
And listens to their wretched cries.

Lies and cold words,
If anything, it hurts
Death will always flirt
With the graveyards' dirt.

Cold words and hate
Love has come in late
My soul, it will awake
To see that I am fake.

Hate and icy envy,
It takes control of me
I fall down to my knees
My heart has begun to freeze.

Icy envy and heartbreak
My blood churns and my body aches
In nervousness do my hands shake
You always knew I'd break.

Heartbreak and lies
Love is a surprise
But never ever wise
I've always loved you, Daimon
Now listen to my dying cries
As I cry for you, my Darling Loved One.

Watch this angels' demise
As she hides her pain behind sober eyes
You know that a soul can die
You just never thought it would be mine,

But now you've stepped up to the plate,
Gone beyond the line
And even though I'm dying now,
I'm telling you I'm fine.

    Wonderfully written piece! I loved this first part, it brought it all together really:

    "Heartbreak and lies
    Love is a surprise
    It watches pain with darkest eyes
    And listens to their wretched cries."

    Absolutely perfect rhyming! In parts of the poem the flow wasn't that great, but oh well! I can tell you put emotion in it, and I admire that a lot. Thanks for the comment and keep up the awesome work! Take care!
