Like the Sun

by lovebug   Apr 29, 2008

Like sun rays
I was blinded
Blinded by his company
Severely paralyzed
Stuck in a daze
Wondering to myself
Why am I here at times
Slowly dieing
His presence taunting me
Quietly
Warm winds form his breath and body
Resting so peacefully next to me
But not really next to me
Simply just lying there
For his own comfort of sleep
To regain energy and wake up to
Just a friend
Sleeping there next to him but...
Not really next to him
Just lying there to regain her life
Life of joy
Joy being next to her joy of life
So I called him then
Only to stand behind a glass wall
Screaming
COME BACK
Because he is slipping away
And he can't hear
So why should I say
I like or love you
There is no place
For those words to sing a beautiful
Harmony
In his face
I see personality and hope
Throughout the days
One day he'd understand
He is like the sun
How I wish he could stay
I was blinded by his company
severely paralyzed
stuck in a daze
Many times wondering
Why am I in this place?
