Resistance

by Ares   Apr 29, 2008

I can't bring you down,
watch the angels fall,
as we devide our gold,
and our hatred,
I wish there was a God,
to make my feelings heal.

sixteen men died,
all because of your greed,
won't you cry a tear,
for a family,
that has lost a son,
that has lost a man?

give me a reason,
not to blow your head,
right of your,
shoulders that must carry,
the shame you've caused.

look to the graveyard,
can you count all the dead,
can you smile, can you laugh,
after this parade,
drop the masquerade!

feel my machine gun,
let it touch your heart,
make it shoot, make it moan,
let yourself die,
and you'll see the hell,
i have made for you.

break me,
and let my blood,
spell "resistance".
and give me,
give me a reason,
not to blow your mind,
right out your head!

    Muse!!! This poem is amazing! I think it's one of your best, and not just cause you involved me :P You got away from your usual rhyming, which is sometimes hard to do, trust me I know, and you totally got into what you were writing with your heart and soul. This poem is amazing. You've earned a spot on my wall :P AMAZING
