I'm free for awhile

I see you and my heart flutters,
and through tears I find a smile.
I feel burdened by my troubles,
but with you I'm free for awhile.

The hardest of days seem easy,
when you walk through the door.
My mind feels so refreshed,
knowing I haven't felt this way before.

When you hold me in your arms,
my body feels so at ease.
My hearts knows it belongs,
and my soul is filled with peace.

This happiness I feel with you,
is difficult to try and explain.
But when I look into your eyes,
I know that you can feel the same.
