Rebels in the Night

by Danielle   May 26, 2004

When the world flips over
and i can't see straight
the windows close
misty fog hazes the gate
wondering onto the unknown path
wasted from the sun
the clouds daze the light
heating restlessness inside
what was once the light
it's hard to put up with
the grey, the might
the battle to fight
tumbling to the ground
is a sense never to be seen
the sight not felt nor found
frustration acqires the hesitance
to the point of remembrance
slowly changing
churning upside-down
rearranging
force repells against the will
a contradiction in itself
let lose the walls
and hang them high
they say it's why
and the did has been done

Wow! That was like an abstract painting, if you really look, there is detail and meaning. As usual you have very good ideas for poems. Loved it.
