Just a dream

Laying down on my bed,
A thousand fantasies of her
smothered in my head,
Closing my eyes for me to sleep,
Because thinking of her will
just make me weep...

A haunting nightmare caused me to wake up,
Trying to stand,
I touched someone else's hand,
And to my surprise I saw HER,
The girl who proved to be my only weakness,
An immense of nervousness drove into my chest,
Is that really her?
I spoke to myself in a soft whisper...

I came near to her face so I can be sure,
Such beauty that is so pure,
Simply breathtaking and alluring,
Suddenly a soft moan forced me to stand back,
I was caught in a place where I'm prohibited to act...

Her arms crawling through my body,
While my hair is rising rapidly,
Softly she murmured my name,
What a wonderful melody coming from a dazzling dame...

Gently she opened her eyes,
As I look at her I become mesmerized,
What a wonderful sight,
That I'd never get tired of looking day and night...

She smiled and gave me a warm embrace,
As she greeted me, "good morning baby,"
My mind malfunctioned and I stared into space,
She waved her hands in front of my eyes,
Never have she seen me so surprised...

She softly slapped me back to my senses,
I came around with eyes crossing to each other,
she giggled and thought I was joking,
She kissed my cheek with care,
But I still couldn't believe what's happening...

Gently she cuddled near me like a baby,
One touch from her can heal my sorrow,
I looked myself in the mirror and I was happy,
I'll love her like there's no tomorrow,
That is what my heart wanted within me...

Tears slowly flowed,
She saw me and asked, "what's with the tears?"
Overwhelmed with such joy,
Because of a dream that I thought would never
come true in a million years...

I just smiled with no words to say,
This is a moment that I would always replay,
So she just asked me if I'll love her forever,
Then I replied, "I'll drop these tears in the
ocean, if anyone can find it, only then will
I stop loving you..."

Blushed and touched by what I said,
She kissed me from my head,
Down to my nose,
Goosebumps came running from my toes...

Slowly she was about to kiss my lips,
With my hands wrapped around her hips,
Right before she could do it,
I heard my mom screaming at me to wake up,
That caused my dream to stop...

    Aww! hah. I'm sorry but the ending was sad & funny at the same time.

    This was really enjoyable to read though there was the middle section that had an awkward flow but it ended up pretty good.

    It seemed kind of daunting to read at the beginning but towards the end I was wishing for more. So maybe you could even add onto it if you want..

    All in all it was a very powerful poem. Keep up the great work. 5/5 from me.
