Love lies in darkness

He talks to her everyday yet cannot see the darkness in her heart.
Everyone can see the love in her eyes when he walks into the room but him.
So she stays in the shadows and hides her heart but he cannot see it.
Her friends all know it and try to pull her from it but the darkness in her heart is to grate.
She dresses in black and hides her pretty face in hopes he will ask why but he cannot see it.
She bows her head to him and calls him master.
She follows close behind like a beaten dog on a leash in hopes he will one day love her but he cannot see it.
People start to talk as she hides more and more into the darkness.
She growls to them to leave her alone in her darkness all her friends have gone and cannot look at her anymore.
But she follows close to him still with hope that one day he will finally be hers.
