Waiting

by Katie   May 1, 2008

As she stares out the window,
No one can see the pain she hides
Or the truth behind her lies

They dont know the story,
But she pretends everythings ok
And waits for a better day

She doesnt know whats wrong,
And she cant seem to find a friend
The best that she can do, is pretend

A silent plea for help
Is all that she can say, for no one knows the truth
That she can never say

Everything is getting dark now
And the world around her grows cold
She keeps waiting to be told

Told that she will be ok
That everythings still the same
But that day, it never came

No one at her funeral
No one at her grave
Just her life that was not saved

She no longer stares out the window
And now everythings ok
For the life that had been taken

Has now slowly blown away

The poem had a really good flow to it and the wording was great also.
The story, however was so ver sad....
I hope this is not about you and how you are feeling.

    5/5 Ingrid
