My dark cave of depression

by Trying to hold on   May 1, 2008

Thousands of black bats,
Evil red eyes, bright as the sun
Their wings cackling and laughing
Flying towards me, start to run

Tripped and fell, hands letting go
Torch smashed in pieces on the ground
Choking on a rock, stuck in my throat
Lost in a cave, never to be found

Crawling on ice cold stones
Legs too wobbly to stand, aching feet
Screeching tyres echo, hurting my head
Hitting harder then solid concrete

Thinking what's around the corner
Makes me shiver and shake
Huddle up to the cave wall
Sleep until I'm ready to wake.
