I am an African

"Beyond violence,
I find kindness.
Within the noise,
I find the voice" Wow is all I can say for this first stanza I loved it. Not many people can understand how bad violence can be but some who live through it can find ways in which to avoid it.

"I climb the tree
and my soul is free" Being safe and being free from everything there could be. Hiding in your tree.

"My actions are definitive,
Beliefs affirmative.
I wish I could see,
My heart says let it be"
All people are different, each to their own. there isnt much people can do about it so "Let it be"

"I am welcome to change,
Is it because I come from the strange.
In peace I nourish
In war I vanish"
Anyone can change, everyone can change they just need to do it. To most you may come from the strange but to those who accept you, you come from the blessed. Peace is important, living life and being free. so yes "In peace I nourish" Was a perfect line for this poem and "in war I vanish" is true, you get lost in war again you show the reality in life perfectly.

"Can I not spread
If my love is shared?

All I know is I am African,
I will show you all I can.
True beauty is never faulty. "

I love this ending its great, you show everything you can and you do what you do this poem is amazing and I can truly feel this.
