I thought that I loved
you
And I thought that you
felt the same way.

But I guess that my
thoughts can be misleading.
And they can be very untrue.

All I wanted was someone
to love me,
And me love them.

I thought I was in love
with you.
And I am.

I was told that you
Loved me,
But I think I was told wrong.

Are you just playing with
my heart.
Or did I just hear wrong
when you said you loved me.

I don't think that I will be able
to open my heart to anyone else.
You have taken my heart.
And I don't think that I will get it back.
