Looking back...
You'd think I'd regret
what I had done
But I don't forget
that I left you stunned

You were there for me
Leaving when needed
Yet staying near
You were always there for me
Even when I pleaded
You helped me steer
into the right road

Now that I'm here
I want nothing less
I want to linger
You've become my cure
you bring out the best in me
and it lingers

You think I would be sad
That I tested you SOO badly
but I wouldn't change it
Maybe parts...
but not from the start

You've helped me
you taught me
you teach me
you showed me
you told me

you taught me caring
you teach me comfort
you showed me unconditional love
you told me it's ok

In the end..
know this...
I love you
in your entirety
Your flaws
your excellences
and.. your insanity
