This little girl

by iloveyouandrew   May 2, 2008

Took a lotta crap as a little girl
Had to learn how to fight when i was a little girl
Learned how to lose when i was a little girl
Felt a lot of pain as a little girl

Felt a lot of rage as a little girl
Learned how death works as a little girl
Got treated worthless as a little girl
I was hatin on the world as a little girl

Kept my feet on the ground as a little girl
Took care of my of my dad as a little girl
Delt with a lot of problems a little girl

Learned what life was really about as a little girl
Felt like no one in the world was listening as a little girl
Walked around in a haze as a little girl
Buried it so deep as a little girl
Had a broken heart on her sleeve as a little girl

Now this little girl is grown up
But as a teenager
I've learned what suicide is

And it seems like the perfect answer

I would prefer to ponder the problem rather than the answer
Yet our feelings are our own. They are neither moral nor immoral
It is what we do with our feelings that will make the difference
I hope I do not sound judgmental because I belong to a support group that searches for answers to the question of self harm. I am not here to fix your feelings though I would if I could. Honesty is a form of true sharing. Thank you for sharing
