A sad and poignant reminder your poem well written as always. We must never forget the hatred and anger those attacks generated. A truly sad time and a sad day of remembrance, 9/11. Coming from England we all felt for the American Nation our Brothers and Sisters and friends. Life at times sucks but we move forward but the scars remain. I to served in the armed forces as a member of the Royal Navy an ex-submariner I lost friends in the Falklands and know the frustration of being unable to do anything I was stuck in a classroom for most of that conflict. I love this. 911 hit me bad too. Especially now that I'm old enough that I'm into politics. Beautiful poem. I say pull the troops out. Just opinion though |

I remember, too. I was in 4th grade... In my advanced reading class. Even though so many people have said that they are so sick of hearing about it, I think that we need to be reminded of it. I makes us really question our values and things that we take for granted. I love this poem. |
