Masked

In the darkness she smiles
The glitter in her eye
Is masked by her other identity
The one whom they think she is

She won’t ever tell
For what she wanted
She has now received
Her true self knows- life is well

But her other identity
Remains in shaky territory
She wants all to know
But destroy them she knows it will

Who she is now
And who they want her to be
Wont ever in this life
Be able to meet

In the darkness she smiles
The glitter in her eye
Will continue to remain there
Until she has the courage to take off her mask
