With the words you say...

by Melissa Didot   May 2, 2008

With the words you say,
With every moment I pray...
Hoping the day you return,
Is coming really soon...
Setting here and waiting,
My heart is simply breaking...
Not knowing when the day will be,
I'm down on my knees, and I plea...
Is this going to make me stronger,
I so don't want to wait much longer...
Only seeing once a week,
Something about talking through a phone seems so bleak...
The glass is there to punish and to bring pain,
Like a bitter sweet rain...
With every letter,
It makes me feel a little better...
Reinsuring me of your love,
And that you was God sent from above...
I want to be in your arms,
And let you work all your charms...
You keep telling me all will be fine,
And all of this will all end in time...
Your worth any amount of time I have to wait,
And that isn't up for debate...
I pray the day you walk out that back door is soon,
I can't wait for that glorious afternoon...
So I can just give you a simple kiss,
To show you how much you have been missed...

Wow, thank you so much... I honestly don't know what I'm writing about when I am writing to tell the truth... Sounds dumb I know... But thank you anyways'...

I do find it a very unusual subject to be on this site. That being said though.

This poem really is somthing that you want to last. A poem that really makes you believe that there is still some good in the world, if only for a moment you think about it.

I really liked it and I'm the first person to comment and rate a poem by you....interest. Either way well writen, liked it a lot.
