Hear that?

by Mimi   May 2, 2008

Do you hear that?
That crisp crackling fire in the distance?
That's my life
Disintegrating before us.
Everything good between us
being destroyed.

That faint whisper of rushing water?
That's my pride
Fighting back burning tears,
easing the singeing imprint
of you in my memory.

Feel this endless haze smoke?
It's merely a fraction
Of what havoc you wreaked here.

But while phoenixes rise
from flaming ashes,
blinded eyes can't be healed.

K WOW yeah I gotta a lot to say about this one

Um for the start I like how you start your first line with the title of your poem

Secondly, the poem has a strong vocabulary which makes the emotion CRAZY But the flow isn't necessarily ALL THAT

That would be my only work on it for you

    So yeah great work 4/5
