A distance between a friendship,
The time we spent,
Forever entwined,
I'll remember how much you meant;

As time is gone,
We both surpassed,
The one thing that means most,
Are friendship from the past;

Just a distance,
Far from one another,
You try to behold,
A treasure we hold together;

Hours away,
A long distant journey,
We will one day meet again,
If only the time would hurry;
