On Wings Of Fire

by Paralyzed   May 3, 2008

I shall not float to heaven,
Graceful as a swan,
On wings of fire, I'll find my way,
Lit up like the dawn.

No quiet voice or timid mind,
For glory makes a sound,
Those who soak in bitter silence,
One day will be found.

They'll see the fight they have to face,
And bring it to the ground,
Before their dying day is done,
Sweet glory comes around.

A helping hand, an open heart,
Whatever they can give,
They pass it on without a thought,
In hopes, you too, will live.

Even if the gates are locked,
Or heaven's just a lie,
Go out like the blazing sun,
Sing your battle cry.
