Time

Time goes on , And so do I,
Just like time, I can crawl or fly.
Running as if , to win a race,
Or going nowhere, at a stand still pace!

Time goes on , but in one single direction,
Of the meaning of choice it has no conception.
Unlike time , I am free to choose!
to do as a winner , Or to knowingly lose.

Time goes on , With me or without,
Of its purpose , and nature , is all it knows about.
Just like time , I am beginning to learn the same,
Should I choose to ignore it , I am nothing but to blame.

Time goes on , and on , it always will,
For time you can waste, or spend but never can you kill.
All you kill when wasting time is the progression of your goal.
so spend your time wise , my friend by nourishing your soul

    So very true.

    The entire poem was very well written and enjoyable but this verse was my favorite.

    With each poem I read I find pearls of information and knowledge.

    Time goes on , but in one single direction,

    A lot of people don't realize that they are the ones that have to choose and not blame others for their mistakes
    this flowed nicely as all your poems do. with emotion and messages

    Sounds like something i would say.
    I love how you stayed on one subject in this poem the whole way through.
    You sticked to time.
    Spending your time wisely, and for things that have purposes, becuase one does not have all the time in the world.
