Fallen angel

by WaitAutumn   May 4, 2008

Once again, here I am, walking down this avenue
The one that leads to the beach...our beach
The one I used to take with you

You would tightly hold my hand
Afraid I'd drift away
But I wasn't the one that left, but you, and I still don't understand

You were my Fallen Angel
You told me, you'd love me forever
You swore you'd never hurt me

During one of our strolls at the beach, you whispered my name
So softly, like the wind blowing in a seashell
At first I thought you were joking around, that it was all just a game

But your voice told me that something was wrong
you took an unusual deep breath
and then said so long

She was my Fallen Angel
She told me, she'd love me forever!
She swore she'd never hurt me!

I was put in a daze
My heart leaping up to my throat
When you said the common phrase
"I think it'd be better, if we'd didn't see each other anymore"

You hastily said good bye
My empty heart was screaming, my soul was bleeding
It was over between you and I

No, Fallen Angels will ever look after me again
I am no longer loved, by anyone
All I have to say now, is good bye (too)

I felt no longer the want to live anymore
Leaned over, the ground far down, her smile (still) whispering through my mind
Let go, my heart tells me, and you will suffer no more

Good Bye my Angel...

-never believed in forever-
