Whether I, Whether You.

Whether I am fat, ugly, or skinny,
whether I am slower,emotional, or can't talk,
whether I am paralyized, emotionless, or walk with a limp,
I have feelings too.

Whether you are cool, popular, or a prep,
whether you are rude, ignorant, or can run for miles on end,
whether you are athletic, awesome, or have a huge ego,
you are no better than me.

For we are all humans,
whether or not we have black or white skin,
whether or not we stutter or slur our words,
whether or not we are slower or faster,
we all cross the finish line.

With eachothers help we can stop bullying,
hold eachothers hands, and make a wall,
bullies are on one side, we are on the other,
we are larger than the bullies,
we can stand up to them,
and we are ourselves.

Walk with your head held high,
laugh and joke with your friends,
eat with those who are alone,
and comfort those who are down,
smile that contagious smile,
and they will smile too,
pass that message on,
yeah, that's what I'll do....
