Paradise (short poem)

by PassingAngel   May 4, 2008

Skip a turn
Take me back to paradise
Where the sun burns
And the water, cold as ice

Bring me back to that place
Where the wind blows softly
And I only see your face,
Staring straight back at me

Sit with me on that gentle cliff
And wait with me on the edge
Let me rest my head on yours
And whisper words unsaid

Now let's sit and watch the sunset;
Its colours paint across the sky
Where memories don't leave yet,
And limits of beauty don't apply.
