When asked to write about him
I find it hard to do
You would think it would be easy
For I know him through and through
But describing him in words
Does not justify him in the least bit
How can I describe my feelings
My words just will not commit
I just cannot grasp this concept
Is it possible for you to understand
The feelings I have inside
Every time he holds my hand
What about when he embraces me
And holds me so close
When he listens to me vent
About the people I hate the most
His silly smirking smile
That makes me laugh every time
Or the fact that I get butterflies
When he says "I'm glad you're mine"
Or what about when he kisses me
And whispers in my ear
About how much he loves me
As he holds me near
I just do not think that you know
Or that you will ever see
That this guy is something special
And means everything to me
