Berkshire Valley 1

by H E Losey   May 5, 2008

From deep within the valley
I hear a siren's call
It beckons me "Come home again"
Come home before the fall.

The mountain holds my secrets
though none there care to hear
Along the rivers rough cut banks
My lonely thoughts were clear

Too many miles I am from home
Too many days have past
To once more walk the valley floor
To be at peace at last.

I noticed no one responded to your little ad in the request area, at least not for all to see in there. Anyways. Here ya go.

Ooo nice. Claps* The only thing I have to say to improve upon is consistancy with punctuation. I felt there could have been a few commas and periods here and there. Other than that it was brilliant.

Aw that reminds me of home here in the summer. It's a nice peaceful feeling. It makes me want to stay here all summer. I love how you write with true feelings.

    Great write!
