Just give me these few moments

by Steven   May 5, 2008

I waited for her
i sat outside on a very cold night
she told me she'll be out soon
i smiled and didn't say much

the night was quiet
and the music was loud
the smokes were fading
as i slowly blew out

it was cold
the world was shaking again
i held onto my phone and waited
waited for her to come share these moments with me

she needed more time to finish her call
i gave her the time of the world to finish
because i knew it must have been someone important
she laughs on the phone
i blow another smoke

just give me these few moments
so i can finish this poem
i need to write how i felt inside
because it felt really cold that night
the smoke was around me again, covering my tears

she finally came out
i stood up slowly with the feet i cared
she didn't say much
just i wasn't needed anymore
i blew out another smoke

i smiled and left
didn't say much or care
she must be happy now
because that boy really made her forget me
and the things i really cared
i threw it away
and there it flew..
