The colours in a dream

Small little flakes fall down,
In colours of all rainbows
Blue, Pink, Green and Silver
All the beauty in the sky

I bask in the twilight colours
Letting them fall over me
My heart sings for a day like this
To appear in every dream

Now there's a special golden one
I catch and cup it in my palms
I lift it to my pinky lips
And give it a gentle kiss

I made a wish before I kissed
A secret only I will keep
Someday I might say it loud
For today, I will keep it sound

The colours twirl above my head
Like graceful dancers prancing round
But when I start dancing to the beat
all these colours are but a dream
