Silent Reptition of Numbness ((blood makes it disappear))

by StandStill   May 5, 2008

Repition is so quiet
hidden words, hidden time
silent, meaningless words
put into poetic rhyme

What's the good of being amazing,
when you have no wings with which to fly?
Please, tell me, what's the point of flying,
when at the end of the story, you die?

Oh, silent tears are crashing
thunder, but are heard not
oceans quickly boil over
worlds condensed into a cooking pot

Focus on a single thing,
one little thing to get you through the day
numbness is a burst of too-bright sunshine
...and blood makes the sun go away

Please, where is this angel,
the one destinied to take me to the stars
oh, lovely numbness hidden
just look beneath these silent scars

Very nice, love how you put the whole thing of people liking to fly in there, I have demonic wings that take me above all of the angels XD lol just made that up, but still nice poem
