I loved you so dearly,
You made me see so clearly
Whenever my mind was
Clouded.
You showed me the way,
Through my darkest of days,
And made a trail that was easy to see.

I'll never forget
Your sweet little face,
I'll never forget how you'd always race
To the gate to meet us for attention.

I should have seen you more often
And showed you I cared.
That was a one time mistake,
I'll never make it again.
Life isn't to be taken for granted.

But oh, how I wish I could see your intelligent gaze,
Looking up at me for just another ounce of love
That we treasured so closely.

You were one of the best goats ever,
And still one I'll never forget.
I miss you my Annie,
And I sure hope you're happy,

For you're still my best friend.

~Yes I know it may seem weird that it's about a goat, but she was a black mini goat and was adorable and died before she was even a year old. She was one of my two favorites and I loved her dearly. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her...
