I cant understand why you hurt me the way you do
but most importantly, why I stick with you
you say you have done nothing, I should just believe your words
but you seem to disregard the fact that your silence leaves me hurt

I ask you a simple question, where were you the other night
instead of answering calmly your temper erupts into a fight
you put me down and hurt me, making me suspicious even more
your acting like you use to act before

The other night when you left, you didn't answer any of my calls
I waiting for you to come home, but you didn't show up at all
and I ask you where were you, you say you were with a friend
and when I ask you who, the conversation soon ends

You said you did nothing, I'm blowing it way out of line
than answer me this question, why didn't you answer your phone the whole time?
You had no reason to ignore me, if you weren't do anything wrong
and you had no reason to stay out all night long

You don't want me to be suspicious why not just explain
instead of telling me I sound stupid, putting me to blame
Ive been there for you all this time, I've always been by your side
even though you don't deserve me, I seem to always try

To make everything work, to make everything feel complete
and all the while your out and about, probably doing some deceit
Now I'm the fool who loves you, you just don't seem to see
