A poem for Charlie

by demitra   May 7, 2008

Charlie,
On this day, your day of birth
It is time you start looking ahead,
So I will recite a breif little mirth,
And say what needs to be said,
I see you, me and Elyssia on the campus pf U of T,
Sitting at our martini bar, mixing fancy drinks,
In the mornings, we'd drink the coffee, and you, the tea
We'd always be competing to see who's the saucier minx
I want you to know right here and now,
When your warm mood suddenly becomes colder,
We three will sit in a cafe and drink orange pekoe,
As long as you're the book cracker, we'll be the shoulder
So have a wonderful birthday that is wild and true,
I hope it's as amazing, as amazing as you.

A poem for my best friend Charlotte
