Subsiding Tears

by Sora   May 7, 2008

She regrets keeping everything bottled up inside,
She hates having all these feelings she can't hide.
It sometimes seems he won't understand,
But deep in his heart she knows he can.

She knows she's made several mistakes,
But she's willing to correct them for both their sakes.
Even though he's lying right next to her,
It feels like he's a million miles away,
She don't know what to do, or say.

Her tongue gets tied and her heart becomes weak,
The negative thoughts make her unable to speak.
The words she wants to cry,
Are trapped inside by the tears that flood her eyes.

All the strength she has, has ceased,
As the pain becomes increased.
She must speak what is on her mind,
Or the fact shall forever live, that love is blind.

Ashlei.
